Richard Sand is a recognized veteran IT architect with more than 10 years of experience specializing in information security and e-business applications. Prior to founding Tripod Technology Group, he was a technology leader at Netegrity Inc., a pioneer in single sign on and identity management technologies. Before his tenure with Netegrity, Mr. Sand worked for IBM Global Services. Traveling extensively throughout Europe and North America for both Netegrity and IBM, he was the key architect, implementer and trainer for numerous Fortune 500 firms including General Electric, American Express, Visa, IBM Corporation, Nokia, Cigna, and Bank One.
During his time at IBM Mr. Sand co-authored, with Steven Adler of IBM Denmark's Insurance Industry Support Unit, the white paper "Internet Insurance Whitepaper: How to Build Insurable Internet Business", which was later published in The Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance, Issues and Practice, no. 86 (January 1998). Based on this work, he led a team of security specialists in the creation of IBM's e-Risk consulting methodology and service offerings for building and assessing secure electronic businesses.

Kim Krogstad, a Norwegian citizen, has more than 9 years of experience from the Management Consulting and Software Industry. Kim is COO, and is responsible for managing and continuously improving the corporate processes, aligning personnel with company goals, and securing effective and successful operations across the global organization. Kim is also Managing Director of the Oslo office, and will help develop Skyworth TTG’s business in Scandinavia and Europe.
Before joining Skywoth TTG, Kim worked for CA for two years, where he was responsible for several of CA’s Enterprise Accounts with special focus on Security and Service Management solutions. Prior to that, Kim spent 6 years as a management consultant at Accenture where he managed a broad range of projects for Nordic customers– ranging from strategy analysis, process reengineering, and large IT implementations.
Mr. Krogstad holds a Master of Science degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
Kent Spaulding has more than 15 years in software development and engineering with leading-edge expertise in identity management, distributed computing, and object-oriented technologies on a variety of computing platforms, including PDAs, PCs, and workstations. Prior to joining Skyworth TTG Mr. Spaulding was the technical lead for the SPML 2.0 implementation in Sun's Identity Manager Product. Mr. Spaulding was also the technical lead for the Sun Java™ Systems Identity Synchronization for Windows 1.0 and 1.1 (ISW) products. Mr. Spaulding designed and developed core components of the Sun ONE Registry Server 1.0 product.
Mr. Spaulding holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Software Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and has a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science Applications and Russian from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Don Hu has more than 8 years of experience building and developing enterprise security products. Before joining Skyworth TTG Don worked for BEA Systems for 2 years, where he helped develop the application security system for the entire BEA product lines. Prior to that, Don worked for Netegrity and Computer Associates for 5 years where he was instrumental in expanding Netegrity SiteMinder product to J2EE application server platforms. The experience has given him a very strong and broad background in information security, from enterprise to system level, including technical standards, policy, the current state of existing implementations, and emerging standards. Mr. Hu holds a Masters degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from JiaoTong University.
