Moorestown, New Jersey - February 8, 2007 – Tripod Technology Group, Inc. (TTG) announced today its commitment to the Chinese and Norwegian markets with the appointments of Don Hu as the Vice President of APAC and Erik Wright as the Norwegian Delivery Manager. TTG recognizes the long term strategic importance of these two countries in the world economy.
Mr. Hu will assume the responsibilities of broadening TTG's professional services, support, custom development, and research and development for the Asia Pacific Region. He will manage TTG's office and recent hires in the Peoples Republic of China (PRC) leading the development teams as well as the professional services and support teams.
Mr. Wright will strengthen TTG's current presence and relationships with both clients and technology partners in Norway.
Biographies
Mr Don Hu
Don Hu has over 8 years of experience building and developing enterprise security products. Before joining TTG Don worked for BEA Systems for 2 years, where he helped develop the application security system for the entire BEA product lines. Prior to that, Don worked for Netegrity and Computer Associates for 5 years where he was instrumental in expanding Netegrity SiteMinder product to J2EE application server platforms. The experience has given him a very strong and broad background in information security, from enterprise to system level, including technical standards, policy, the current state of existing implementations, and emerging standards. Mr. Hu holds a Masters degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from JiaoTong University.
Mr. Erik Wright
Erik Wright has over 7 years of experience leading and building out new divisions within enterprises. Erik combines this leadership with his strong software development background. Prior to joining TTG, Erik was a founding member and technical lead for Radialpoint's development team. Radialpoint provides Value Added Service (VAS) solutions for the world's largest Broadband Service Providers (BSPs).
Tripod Technology Group designs, implements, and assesses network architecture security, which includes configuration and implementation of Single Sign On, Identity Management, and Federation software solutions, installation and configuration of network firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, configuration of security-hardened operating systems, as well as general application security to provide a comprehensive defense-in-depth solution.
