Tripod Technology Group, Inc. (TTG) today announced the release of its Tomcat Agent 1.1 and its JBoss Agent 1.1. These agents are the newest releases of TTG's agent line for CA SiteMinder. They represent an enhanced version of the Tomcat Agent 1.0 and the JBoss Agent 1.0

The Business Challenge

The TTG Tomcat Agent for SiteMinder is a custom Agent developed by Tripod Technology Group, Inc for the Apache Tomcat Java™ servlet container. The Tomcat Agent implements standard SiteMinder Web Agent functionality and provides major SiteMinder Security features, such as:

1. Single Sign-On to other web servers
2. URL-Based Authorization
3. Session Management

The Tomcat Agent for SiteMinder is implemented as a Tomcat Valve, so it is automatically available to all applications deployed on the Tomcat server.

The TTG JBoss Agent for CA SiteMinder (hereafter also referred to as "the JBossAgent" or "the Agent") is a custom SiteMinder Agent developed by Tripod Technology Group, Inc. for the JBoss Servlet container (while using the Tomcat Servlet engine.) The JBoss Agent implements standard SiteMinder Web Agent functionality and provides major SiteMinder Security features, such as:
